Project 8 Consentful Interface
An additional modification of project 6
In this project, I have added a User Consent page to my previous camera, following the F.R.I.E.S. princeples of a building a good UI.
Design Process
Following F.R.I.E.S.
The five princeples stand for 'Freely Given', 'Reversible', 'Informed', 'Enthusiastic', 'Specific'. Therefore,
1. This consent page will firstly inform the user that the feature of this camera is free of charge, and will not ask for any personal info in exchange
2. Secondly, once the camera access is authorized, the page will not store the data nor will it use the data in other places, meaning that the features are reversible
3. The "Please Read" page functions as a informative guide for the users. Also, by clicking the key 0, users can get back to this page at anytime to view the terms.
4. Users are encouraged to try out the filter, but only if they are enthusiactic! The page will not force users to check out the filters, as said in the terms.
5. The terms are very specific, giving the users an understanding of what is coming.
